You built something people care about — a mastermind, a membership community, a coaching program, a corporate team that matters. People show up because of your vision. They stay because of what they experience when they’re together.
“Designing those experiences is a different skill entirely.”
It takes hours of meticulous work to architect a retreat that participants love, a meeting that people don’t just attend but remember, a session where someone has a real breakthrough. You know you should be spending your time leading, selling, and growing. Instead, you’re up late building agendas, tweaking facilitator notes, and wondering whether this session is really going to work.
I’m Rob Murray. I’ve spent the last decade mastering one thing: designing group experiences where people feel safe enough to be real, challenged enough to grow, and connected enough to stay. Over 1,000 sessions since 2017. Trained in the Xchange methodology and a Certified High Performance Coach.
I work as an embedded partner. That means I’m learning your community, understanding your people, and building session arcs that fit like they were always supposed to be there. Facilitator guides. Participant workbooks. Activity designs. Post-session analysis. The whole system.
I also help my clients integrate AI into their business workflows — from session preparation and curriculum development to post-event analysis and client communication. AI is a powerful tool when it’s woven into a human-centered strategy, and I help leaders figure out exactly where it fits and how to use it without losing the personal touch that makes their work special.
Before all of this, I spent 30+ years in the corporate world. I helped build a startup company to $200M with 1,000 employees, led international teams across the US, China, and India, and helped a second company exit at a 5.5X PE multiple. I’ve been in the same rooms as the leaders I serve. I know what it costs to build something real.
Most people design a session, deliver it, and move on. I run a cycle that compounds.
II build the complete session architecture — the arc, the activities, the facilitator notes, the participant materials. Everything your team needs to walk into the room with confidence.
I build the complete session architecture — the arc, the activities, the facilitator notes, the participant materials. Everything your team needs to walk into the room with confidence.
After every session, I help you analyze participant feedback, survey results, and event recordings to create a powerful loop of progress. AI tools support this analysis, but the core strategy is human — helping you get better at running sessions every single time.
The cycle compounds. The whole system becomes a flywheel.
I help leaders integrate AI into the parts of their business where it actually matters. The goal is always the same: save time, sharpen quality, and free you up to do the human work that only you can do.
Where AI fits into what we build together:
Session prep: Session preparation and curriculum development
Debrief analysis: Post-event transcript analysis against facilitation best practices
Feedback synthesis: Participant feedback synthesis and trend identification
Content production: Workbook and participant material generation
Communication: Client communication workflows and follow-up systems
Skill development: Coaching skill development through AI-powered blind spot analysis
I don’t sell AI tools. I help you figure out where AI creates real leverage in your specific situation, then I build the workflows with you so your team can own them going forward.

I work best with people who already have something real — a community, a team, a program with paying members or committed participants. You don’t need help figuring out if group work matters. You need someone who can make it extraordinary.
You run retreats and meetings that drive retention and transformation. You need someone who can make every gathering extraordinary and help you grow your membership.
You deliver high-stakes team experiences and need them designed with precision — the kind that changes how people work together.
You run premium group programs and want a strategic design partner who understands the craft at a mastery level and can help you integrate AI into your workflows.
You want to move beyond keynotes into genuinely interactive, transformational formats that people actually remember.
I work on retainer with a small number of partners at a time. The relationships are long-term. I learn your community, your voice, your cadence. Over time, I become part of your operating rhythm — the person you call when you need a retreat designed by next Tuesday, or when you want to rethink how your entire membership experience works.
What that looks like:
Comprehensive session and event design
Facilitator guides and participant workbooks
Co-facilitation and delivery support
AI-powered workflow integration and post-session debriefing
Community growth and member retention strategy
Ongoing strategic consulting and thought partnership
If you’re exploring whether this kind of partnership makes sense for your situation, the best way to start is a conversation.
facilitation sessions since 2017
company built from startup
PE exit
corporate leadership (US, China, India)

Group Coach Magic was created to solve a specific problem: brilliant group programs where the coaching is world-class, but the delivery still relies on spreadsheets, DMs, and heroic effort.

One day, you'll say, "I was there when the A.I. revolution in coaching began.
Our core offer is consulting and implementation support. We work with you and your team to design the right AI workflows, then support implementation so your existing ops, marketing, or tech people can own the system day to day.
No. Many clients come in with very little AI experience. We focus on plain-language workflows, visual diagrams, and clear SOPs. If you already have AI experiments running, we’ll build on what’s working and clean up what’s not.
We’re tool-agnostic. We commonly work with platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Airtable, Zapier/Make, and email/CRM tools. During the consult, we’ll discuss your current stack and recommend a path that fits your privacy, budget, and team.
Most clients run group or hybrid programs between low six and high seven figures in annual revenue, with at least a part-time operations or admin person in place. If you’re earlier stage but serious about building scalable systems, the consult can still be valuable.
You’ll receive a short summary of the workflow we mapped, plus suggested next steps and options to engage us for deeper strategy and implementation support. If it’s not a fit, you’ll still leave with clarity about where AI makes the most sense for your business.
